Red morocco binding with gilt design in upper cover by Riviere & Son. Gilt page edges. Books in good condition showing signs of use. Pages have yellowed somewhat. Endpapers show transfer from contact with leather and bookplate. Bookplate: J.L. and E.B. Ketterlinus - Philadelphia Pencil notation on endpage: First Edition in English The Hoe (?) copy consists of 3 vols. only dated 1653_1693 and 1708 This set consissts of Vol.I & II 1653_ III 1693_ IV & V 1694 Being earlier than the Hoe(?) copy which sold as 1st for $325. in 1911.
