Labels in Elsie Murray's handwriting read "Mary Hunsiker MA 30E 1930? Child's suit Zuyder Zee." and "Peasant Costume and cap. Dutch from Zuyder Zee. Hunsiker 1930? Worn by adults as well as children. Boys and girls are dressed alike except for an emblem on cap." 5 pieces_ some marked with illegible letters. Skirt: has apron tacked to front. Skirt has multicolored striped top and red crewel embroidered panel at hem (20.5 cm wide). Apron is multicolored_ striped_ with wool embroidery including the word "AMOR" at top. Vest: Red wool and black velvet_ crewel embroidery_ lace front. Pocket: Multi-colored crewel embroidery. Cap: Black wool_ red lining_ comes to extreme point. Blouse: Natural color_ lace trim on cuffs_ dark wool embroidery.
